Upon arrival at Haridwar, you are greeted by our representative who then transports you to Ukhimath. Enroute we visit Devprayag; the auspicious confluence of River Bhagirathi and River Alakananda and Rudraprayag; the auspicious confluence of River Mandakini and River Alakananda. On reaching, finish up with hotel check in, freshening and then set out to visit the holy Ukhimath temple, where Lord Kedarnath resides in the snowy winter months. In the evening time, experience the soul - purifying enchanting Aarti at the temple and offer your puja to the deity housed there. Night stay at Ukhimath.
Next day, we head towards Chopta, drive by road and the journey would indeed leave spell bound with the picture perfect scenery that’s blessed with conifer bordered meandering paths, colorful alpine rhododendrons, gurgling rivulets and many more. On reaching, check into the hotel or a camp. The rest of the time is left free to you to explore the beauteous nature of Chopta and arrest its clips onto your camera reels. Night stay in chopta.
Next day, post breakfast we start our trek for Tunganath. You’ll have to trek upwards to 3680m to reach Tunganath. On the way awe inspiring views of the majestic Chaukhamba peaks and emerald green meadows would make you feel that it’s indeed the God’s world that you have arrived into. On reaching, offer your worship at the sacred Tunganath temple and after an hour of rest, resume trek and proceed towards Chandrashila which is another 1km upward trek from Tunganath. Myths have it that Ravana did rigorous penance at Chandrashila Peak to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva. The legends associated with the place would fascinate you a lot. Trek back to Chopta. Overnight stay in Chopta.
Next day, after breakfast we start our return journey for Haridwar. On the way back, you are served both breakfast and lunch. Our representative sees you off at Haridwar intercity state bus stand or railway station.
